On Monday I finally met Kimberley and Dan for their maternity session. They live a few hours away. We started off at my home studio and then we headed off to the beach to catch the sunset! It really was a beautiful night and Kimberley looked absolutely stunning!! I’m so excited to get to meet their baby, we are not sure if its a boy or a girl, either way it will be so loved!

On Sunday I had a beautiful visitor come in for her first photo session, meet 9 day old Gracie… I can’t begin to express how much I enjoyed photographing her. I got through lots of set ups and had a ton of fun with her. She was so good for me and made my job so easy.

Thank you Naome for choosing me to photograph her, it means so much to me. I hope you will love her images as much as I do.

The best thing about maternity sessions is getting to know the parents before the newborn shoot. I feel like I have known Golda and Jason forever, and I was so delighted to finally meet baby Ivanka (isn’t it a gorgeous name?). It really is an honour for me to share one of the first few days of life with the parents. Baby Ivanka slept for most of her session and was such a good girl for me. She didn’t mind posing and I am not even sure she knew we were having a photo session. I can’t wait to get stuck onto the editing just so I can have more cuddles from her when mum and dad come back to choose the photos.

This little guy made me work so hard for his pictures but at the end I won 🙂 Such a beautiful family, I am SO excited to edit his session. His mum booked a long time ago so I was able to order some stuff from overseas especially for his shoot.
